What is Word500?

Word500 is a harder daily word guess. Each guess tells you how many letters are right and in place, right but misplaced, or not in the word, but never which letters those are. Work it out like Mastermind within eight attempts. Practice and archive modes sit beside the daily.

How to play

1. 1Type a guess and submit it.
2. 2Read the three counters: green for right letter and place, yellow for right letter in the wrong place, red for letters not in the word.
3. 3Compare your guesses to work out which letters the counts refer to.
4. 4Find the secret word within eight attempts.
