What is Strands?

The New York Times take on the word search. Every word in the grid fits the day's theme, and one special word, the spangram, stretches across the whole board and ties the theme together.

How to play

1. 1Drag or tap letters in any direction to form words that match the theme.
2. 2Finding non theme words earns hints instead of progress.
3. 3Locate the spangram that touches two opposite sides of the board to anchor the puzzle.
