What is Wordle?

The game that started the whole dle genre. One secret five letter word per day, six guesses, and the green, yellow and grey tiles everyone recognises from group chats. Now hosted by the New York Times and still free.

How to play

1Type any five letter word as your first guess.
2Green tiles are correct letters in the right spot, yellow are in the word but elsewhere, grey are not in the word.
3Use the feedback to narrow down the answer within six guesses.
